Mondays Mixed Ink

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend and are tackling the new week with style and pizazz!

Keep watching for the results of Operation Agent Ink. I'm compiling a list RIGHT NOW TO POST!

Me? This week will be busy. I'm working on revisions and edits.

Plus, the blog will have a new look page next week! That's right, I've got some super fun things coming your way. Remember, I told you I had big plans for Ink in the Book? Well, I do! It's something I never expected, but it all happened so quickly and it's fallen into place without a single wrinkle and I'm so excited to share it with you:)

There's going to be five of us here at Ink in the Book. On my new page, we're creating a writing group. We're planning lots of advice, help, encouragement, reviews, contests, blog hops, and so much more! Great things are in store and I'm so excited to get it started, but alas! It must wait until next week!

      I think we did really well for the amount of entries received. We had 6 agents participating and 5 of those agents made requests, so I'm happy with the ending result. I wish more had received requests, but still, I'm happy:)

EVER Blog Hop!!!!!

I joined a blog hop flash writing contest with/for Jessa Russo. It's in honor of her first EVER book release. I met Jessa during the Curiosity Quills Blog hop. I have never read a ghost story, but after reading Jessa's query and first few pages and then learning more about her ghost Frankie, I was so inspired, I fell in love -with Frankie. I was so inspired, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and write a story I had never written before and never thought I would write. Or even want to write. But I did, and I did. My piece for the contest is a small part of my bigger manuscript I wrote. I had to modify and change a few things so the story would make sense, but I think it works.
