Saying Hi

Hey blog friends:)

Just checking in to say hi! We're traveling home today and should get they late tomorrow night! I've not been home all summer so I'm completely excited.

With my broke foot, traveling is hard, but I'm trying to ignore the pain in exchange for seeing my family.

Happy Thanksgiving bloggy friends:)

  1. Safe journeys and I hope you have a pleasant holiday at home with your family. Sorry about the foot.

  2. Happy Thanksgiving! Have a nice trip, and hope your foot is feeling better. :) Pie should help.*

*In my expert medical opinion, which consists solely of my personal anecdotal experience of pie fixing things.

  3. Safe journeys - know you'll be glad to be home. Happy Thanksgiving!

  4. Safe travels. Hope the foot arrives pain free!

  5. Happy Thanksgiving, Talynn. Hope your foot heals quickly and food abounds but has no caloric after-effect! :)

  6. So sorry to hear about your foot! Glad about husband's job and resumption of running water though :) I mentioned you/Operation Agent Ink on my blog post today. I think I am signed up for that, aren't I?

  7. Have a happy thanksgiving !! :)

  8. Happy Thanksgiving to all the American peeps!

  9. Safe Travels! So happy for you & hubby and the prospect of hot water (any water!). Fingers crossed the good luck continues apace.

Here ya go. Enjoy... Every morning I wake to carnival day.  Today, though, I have my key. If I don’t use it before midnight, my way of escape will gone. It’s a silver key with a twisted metal handle, a sapphire stone half moon and engraved stars. There’s a tiny inscription on the moon, but it’s so small, I’ve never been able to read it.I’ve always kept mine in my jewelry box, but today, I string it on a ribbon and tie it around my neck. My two best friends will be wearing theirs, too, and I wonder how they will escape this carnival of dreams. “What’s it for?” Cress asks as we stand in line for the swings. I run my fingertips over the entire silver surface. “I don’t know. It belonged to my grandmother,” I say. “Whatever.” She shrugs her shoulder in a dismissive way. “Have

Friday's post

Hey all:) I'm taking today and this weekend off. A very, VERY dear, sweet, and close friend of my family passed away this week. And we just got word that his wife's brother, (whom I love like a mother) died last night. So she is dealing with the death of her husband and her brother. Enjoy your weekend, my friends, and hold those you love close. You never know when they will be gone. I will return on Monday, and will have workshop classes every day next week.
