Twitter, Anyone? Plus contest

Today is Ask and Agent #AgentInk. I've got agents lined up to answer your submission package questions! I've set it up for this afternoon at 5 EST, but that's not set in stone. Anyone have a specific time they prefer?

also, if you can't make it to the twitter session, leave a comment below and I'll post it for you. Tomorrow, I'll post the agent answer.

Happy day today, beautiful guys and dolls!

Oh, and stay tuned for my tagged meme. I've got some lovely ones to share with you.

Oh, and one more thing. Tomorrows post will include a bloghop and an Operation Agent Ink Contest and giveaway. The giveaways are from the AGENTS.

Agent Critiques!!! 5 pages, 10 pages, and more. Even a personal phone call from an agent! there are several prizes, so COME BACK TOMORROW AND participate!

It's going to be great! In advance, I'll let you know what to expect in the contest.

You get a chance to write the best piece possible about you manuscript. If you could write something awesome about your novel to be, what would you write to lure others to want to read it? Winners will be picked by a panel of judges not connected to any of the participants. They are ALL readers who know when they see a good book.

So write that hook!~ There is a 200 word limit.

See you tomorrow

Operation Agent Ink

UPDATE: PLEASE FILL OUT THIS QUESTIONNAIRE AFTER YOU SIGN UP. Have you ever wondered what agents were dying to find in their inbox/slush pile? There have been many times I entered a contest and not even received a comment, not even from one of the agents. Or maybe the agent was kind enough to leave a comment that simply said, "Sorry, this just isn't what I'm looking for, but I love the premise and your voice." I always walk away feeling unsatisfied. If I had known exactly what the agent wanted beyond, "YA" or "Fantasy" I might not have even entered a contest I knew I wouldn't win! Even more, I wasted a very busy agents time! Well, your time of guessing is up! OPERATION AGENT INK to the rescue! That's right! This workshop will help aspiring authors get on the list of an agent's WISH LIST! When the workshop is over, your manuscript will be ready to view by a group of AMAZING agents who are dying to see what you've wri...

Blog Hop: HANGERS!!

For today's endings, I have the first five last lines of each chapter. Sad to say, with my computer still MIA I haven't been able to do any writing. I miss MY MacBook! I did get a  new, gorgeous baby that started out as a loan while mine was being repaired. But we have decided to keep it. It is super nice, but ALL my *stuff* is on my old computer and I miss my *stuff*. IF that even makes sense... Are you ready for my hangers? I hope you like them:) ********** Chapter 1: For all it's worth I am so in trouble. Chapter 2: Not only is it pouring down rain, it is pitch dark and  I have no idea where I am. Chapter 3: Before I had a chance to explain, total mayhem flew through the door. Chapter 4: Sure he's smart and funny and absolutely gorgeous but that doesn't matter because he can never be mine. Chapter 5: Vanity waltzed into the room decked out like she was going to the ball. ********** That's it for now. All I need now is your comments! Thanks s...

The Writers Voice Entry

How excited am I? Can't you hear me laughing and squeeing, right there where you are? Yep! I'm excited! I made it tot he first round of the Writers Voice!! So today, I've posted my entry, here int his blog post, for the coaches to come around and read and decide if I'm ready to move on to the next round. Keep your fingers crossed for me PLEASE:) The entry I'm posting as went through numerous rounds of edits and revisions to get it where it is already. I've cut, squeezed, rearranged and replaced so much, I think my brain is on fire! I've changed names, combined characters, cut characters, and I've changed titles a couple of times and agonized over my genre until I cried . I've put th e first three chapters through a couple of workshops and had feedback from a few agents, so I'm sure I 've got the results I wanted. (I can be honest, can't I?) So, here we go, you beautiful guys and dolls. Feel free to leave any comments that might ...
